Publication Charge: The publication process is free in the International Journal of Plant Based Pharmaceuticals (IJPBP). There are no express or hidden fees during the entire publishing process. Authors and readers can access articles free of charge at ijpbp.com
Publisher: IJPBP is an independent, non-profit, and self-publishing academic journal, founded by Prof. Dr. Bektaş Tepe, who assumes all official responsibilities for the journal.
Publication Language: IJPBP accepts manuscripts only in English.
Publication Frequency: From 2021 to 2025, IJPBP was published twice a year, in June and December. Starting from 2026, IJPBP has transitioned to a continuous publication model: accepted manuscripts are published online immediately and continuously as soon as they complete the production process, and are compiled into the relevant annual volume at the end of each year. Additional thematic special issues may be published as needed.
DOI Policy: IJPBP assigns a DOI to every published article via Crossref (prefix: 10.62313), resolvable at https://doi.org/.
Publication and Evaluation Process: Manuscripts submitted to the journal are reviewed by at least two independent researchers (double-anonymized peer review). Manuscripts are published or not published according to the reviewers' evaluation reports and the final decision of the Editor-in-Chief. Articles must not have been previously published.
